perfect base for exploring historical landmarks and parks
the hotel is just a few steps from the breathtaking Belfry of Bruges and surrounded by delightful cafes, which made my morning strolls truly enjoyable.

A quaint spot with a charming vibe, showcasing a surprisingly generous selection for breakfast each morning, despite a few outdated decor aspects. Plus, the flexibility of letting us check in early and store our bags after checkout was a nice touch.
There were some notable issues. My first room had a broken bedside table and door handles that were pretty unreliable. the bathroom showed some concerning signs of mold and cleanliness. Got a surprise with the heater when it refused to function as expected. I had initially booked a room with two single beds only to find myself in one with a double. the need for advanced notice to correct that was poorly communicated. I felt some of the amenities were lacking, especially with the minimal presence of staff as they clearly weren't available 24/7, unlike many standard hotels.

My room was super hot, and there was barely any privacy with the toilet door.

Family with children great option
Location was amazing, we were right next to the Belfry, could walk everywhere in minutes. The owner even whipped up a fantastic croissant for breakfast, can’t beat that kind of hospitality!
It wasn't inexpensive, felt a bit steep but totally acceptable.

Family with children friendly spot
We got welcomed like family. Aga, the owner, even helped us get a reservation at a golf club and drove us there! The breakfast was a delightful surprise, fresh croissants that were like pure heaven and an assortment that had my daughters raving.
Though it wasn’t the cheapest place I’ve stayed, it still felt okay for what we got.

It was just a decent option for a brief sojourn in Bruges with attractive and competitive value for money. The breakfast offered some really delightful croissants that were a perfect start to the day. Bring your own snacks and drinks since there’s no mini fridge or kettle in the room.

We had a lovely time exploring Bruges with our grandson! The location was spot-on, making trips to attractions like Tillegembos super easy. the breakfast was quite delightful, with fresh pastries that the whole family enjoyed.
In my wife’s opinion, the heating could use some attention.

missingWrote a review on Jun 28excellent locationdelicious breakfastcramped bathroomlimited heatingminimal staff
The location is unbeatable, with the Belfry just a stone's throw away and plenty of charming bars and restaurants nearby. The continental breakfast included some delightful pancake platters that were a hit with my family. the room felt a bit cramped, especially the bathroom, and the heating struggled to keep up on colder nights. It would have been nice to have more staff presence, as at times it felt like assistance was limited.
